Traveling cat spotted in the fourteen hundred year old museum Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey. In his novel Inferno, Dan Brown writes: "I believe what
is beneath Hagia Sophia is much more exciting than what is above the
surface." The museum is also known for taking in numerous cats. The most popular one is Gli who has been living in the Hagia Sophia since he was a kitten.

ReplyDeleteWe visited Portugal and there was a feral cat on the street outside our apartment complex and people regularly left food for it. I don't think you would find that same kindness here in the US.
