Cats from Cadaqués {Spain}

The Spanish resort town of Cadaqués is famous for its whitewashed houses, its canopies of wilting wisteria, and its large number of cats that take up residence in the picturesque little alleys.

Although Cadaqués is a popular place with Catalans, "the pearl of the Costa Brava" hasn't yet succumbed to mass tourism and has retained an air of authenticity. As such, the cats enjoy their afternoon nap without being disturbed by the tourists who usually prefer to lounge in the sun with a drink and tapas near the beach.

  1. Cataques looks like such a beautiful town. And the cats look very relaxed and well cared for.

  2. That actually sounds like the place to visit.

    Were there captions with each photo, because ads appeared between all of them and I couldn't tell if those ads were covering up your captions.

  3. It is lovely to see the cats and they all look well fed and cared for.

  4. I would help with their care and food. I sure would. Kitties are most precious.
