The Koenji district in Tokyo is known for its thrift stores and fashion boutiques. You won't see many cats in the shopping streets, but if you stroll through the surrounding alleys, you will meet many cats that are doing the rounds of the garbage bins.
That last one made me sad!

ReplyDeleteThis last pussy cat just makes me so sad. I wish I could be there and just cuddle it but I know it would just take off, hiss and tell me to bugger off:)
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued by the relationship Asia has with cats. It seems a bit off-kilter. Perhaps it has to do with the country in question. Japan seems to offer them more respect and reverence than others. Great captures. Hugs.
