A serendipitous encounter: from dumpster to library

Page’s journey began in a rather unexpected manner. She was discovered as a tiny, helpless kitten, nestled amidst the refuse of a nearby dumpster. Fate intervened, and it was the compassionate souls of the Book Buyers employees who rescued her from her dire situation.

With gentle coaxing and unwavering kindness, they won over Page’s trust, and she quickly became a part of the bookstore’s warm family. The kitty now calls the bookstore her forever home.

As Page settled into her newfound sanctuary amidst the books, she began to showcase her unique talents. Her captivating presence and irresistible charm gradually won the hearts of both the library staff and customers.

Soon, Page’s undeniable charisma led her to take over the library’s social media pages, sharing adorable pictures, book recommendations, and even witty cat-themed content.

Over time, Page earned the trust and adoration of the library’s loyal patrons. She became a beloved figurehead, seamlessly blending the worlds of books and feline charm, and leaving a lasting pawprint in the hearts of all who encountered her.

Serious cattitude

However, customer relations isn’t exactly Page’s specialty. 😹

The library employees describe her as “a tuxedo cat with a lot of personality and some serious cattitude.” She loves interacting with customers, but only “from afar.”

A prominently displayed message on the shop window serves as a friendly reminder to customers, urging them to approach Page with utmost care and respect: “I scratch and bite. Please don’t touch or annoy me. (or call me fat, or ask me if I’m pregnant)”

Though Page may not be the typical “customer relations expert,” she brings a unique charm to the library. Adorned in a striking tuxedo coat, she exudes elegance and sophistication, allowing customers to marvel at her regal presence.

Spending time at Book Buyers Library

Mostly, however, Page prefers spending her time in the company of… her favorite books. Amidst the hallowed shelves of the Book Buyers library is where Page finds solace and contentment.

On occasion, she even surprises patrons by curling up with a book about dogs, showcasing her insatiable curiosity and open-mindedness.

It’s as if Page has absorbed the knowledge and stories contained within the pages, making her the purrfect reading companion.
