What should a cat lover do when in Seoul, South Korea? Visit a cat bar, of course.
A cat bar is a sort of coffee shop where you can play with a dozen resident cats. The bars were created for people who live in apartments where pets are not allowed, but they are equally popular with tourists regardless of whether or not they have cats at home.
One of the more popular cat bars in Seoul is Cat Attic which has now several branches across South Korea.
Before entering Cat Attic, you need to take off your shoes and disinfect your hands. Once you've ordered your food and drinks, you are ready for some serious petting and playing. Do not wake them up when they're tired, though. In that case, you can just chat with your friends or browse wifi while the cats sleep at your feet.
All so sweet! Cat cafes are becoming popular in Australia too, there's one opening in Perth soon. I know the one in Melbourne is extremely popular.
