  • From Hexham town center, head south on A6079 toward River Tyne.
  • Continue on A6079, and after approximately 2 miles, you will reach a roundabout.
  • Take the second exit onto A69 (signposted Carlisle).
  • Stay on A69 for about 3 miles, then take the exit toward A686 (signposted Alston, Haydon Bridge).
  • At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A686.
  • Follow A686 for approximately 6 miles until you reach Thornley Gate.
  • Thornley House B&B will be on your right-hand side.

By train
