Three years after the devastating earthquake and tsunami that crippled Japan's nuclear reactors, abandoned dogs, cats, and other animals still roam the ghost towns of the evacuation zones. Volunteers are doing their best to try and save these animals. Some people even stayed behind in dangerously radiated areas, specifically to help the animals.

  2. It was a terrible disaster for the people and the poor animals who lost owners and had the effects from the fallout.
    Take care.

  6. This breaks my heart. It captures how animals are as affected by tragedy as humans are.

  12. How sad. We love our two cats. Both needed a good home - one came from the animal shelter and one was from a lady who was doing a good deed looking for homes for a couple of kittens that weren't wanted (ours was the last one left). Thanks for linking on Amanda's Books and More! It's always nice to have you there.
