These traveling cats show you the splendor their town, Risør, has to offer throughout the seasons. With its white painted wooden houses and gardens full of flowers, Risør, situated in southern Norway, is one of the best-preserved timber towns in Europe. Tourists also love the city for its activities such as kayaking, nordic walking, cycling, canoeing, and sailing.

Thea are beautiful, is it a special breed?
ReplyDeleteWe wondered about the breed too. Did not realise it was a timber town. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteSuch beatuies, all of them! Their eyes are mesmerizing!
ReplyDeleteOh, those have GOT to be Norwegian Forest Cats with that gorgeous long fur! Except for the orange one. How'd he get in there?
ReplyDeleteThat is just what I was thinking (that they were Norwegian Forest Cats).. The orange on to I think. They are so gorgeous. I love the one the kitty biting the branch in the snow.
DeleteWOW!! You are such pretty cats!! I have never seen a cat that looks like you guys!
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous!!! Love their eyes! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful town and very beautiful cats! I bet those coats help keep them warm during cold winters.
ReplyDeletethey are STUNNING! thanks for sharing v. cheers!!
ReplyDeleteI see high maintenance for these beauties. Having dealt with just an ordinary Persian, I know how that undercoat tangles and has to be brushed or it turns into a huge clumps. Wonder if these guys have the same issue, but my guess is yes. Gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe love those Norwegian cats and their coats are amazing. It's nice to see that they are allowed to go outside in all weathers but expect their owner will need to spend many hours brushing and.grooming them.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitties and fabulous scenery - we love Norway!
ReplyDeleteDidn't see the town but I did see two of the most gorgeous weegies.
ReplyDeleteWe are all weegies here but that's because we live in Glasgow and that's what call Glasgwegians! We have a long haired human and one semi longhaired cat but he's definitely not a snow cat as he wont even set paw out side if it is cold never mind in the snow. So we are only honorary feline weegies.
Wow. They are absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful!
