  1. Yeah, it's never good news when you see a cat in a gunny sack.

  2. Some people are just horrible. Hate what they do to these poor creatures.

  3. Je crois que je vais m'abstenir de dire ce que je pense de l'attitude de certains peuples d'Asie envers les animaux !

  4. I understand that different countries use various animals for meat, and that cultural and social differences cause us to either have a gut reaction of approval or disgust for that form of meat. What I absolutely CANNOT understand is the cruelty that people subject animals to, whether they are used for food or not. If you are going to eat an animal so that you can live, at least give that animal some respect in its own life. That being said, I could never eat a cat. Philosophically, I should be a strict vegetarian, but I've tried and physically do not do well. I eat only limited poultry and fish now, and it pains me to do so. Ugh.

  6. Thank God they were saved. We felt sick looking at them in those cages knowing what was to happen. Bravo to all who try and stop this barbaric practice.
    Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  7. I agree with Marci 100% although I am not a vegetarian. A friend went to Ecuador where they eat guinea pigs. His mother was horrified, he was not. Just because we don't eat these things doesn't mean it's a bad practice.

  8. They should eat their children and cut down the surplus population - but leave the cats alone - or better yet send the cats to Japan where they are adored.

Far northern native people need seal and whale meat to survive - it is a matter of culture.

  11. Wow, that is hard to fathom. Cultures certainly vary but humane treatment should be a global concern.

  16. Especially in China, and again no offense to any country in particular , the scope and range of the animals they can eat and / or serve as food is vast. It's sheer disgust and shameful to subject another especially a cute innocent life to such cruelty.
I feel fortunate I am, by birth from a vegan family, but in case someone have to eat meat to survive, say in adverse situations, this is certainly not the way to kill, any animal passing your way and decorate your platter with its life murdered forever.
