Traveling cats spotted in the fortified city of Aït-ben-Haddou, Morocco. The site attracts a lot of tourists because several movies and TV series have been filmed here (Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King). And also because of Aït-ben-Haddou's large cat population.
They look like they were there always. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat one at the top looks like he's surveying his kingdom.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued! I want to see more of Traveling Cats! Happy A to Z to you!

What beautiful shots! The cats match their surroundings (well all except the cute kitten at the bottom!) :). It seems like these are 'feral' cats - does the city do much to control the cat population?

Quelle horreur, qu'est il arrivé au chat figurant sur la première photo ? Pauvre chat...
ReplyDeleteThere are several areas in Morocco that have huge outdoor dye vats for dyeing leather and I wondered if the " blue" cat lived near one of these areas.
