Traveling cats spotted in Fukuoka on the Japanese island Kyushu. Just like Tashirojima, Kyushu is often called 'cat island' for its large number of cats. The local fishermen provide food and shelter.
If Kyushu isn't a dream destination, then I don't know what is ;-)

Some of these are adorable. I'm not sure the flying yellow cat is going to be able to complete that jump, but I hope so.
ReplyDeleteWat een lieve foto's!
ReplyDeleteGroetjes en een fijne dag.
There are so amazing photos, love the cat jumping from the boat and the last one. They are all so cute.
ReplyDeleteOMD the free running cats....brilliant. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I usually feel conflicted about pictures of homeless cats, but these cats look content and well fed!
ReplyDeleteGreat Dream Destination post, here's mine: http://msmisantropia.blogspot.se/2013/12/dream-destination-blog-hop.html
Goodness ~ usually a person feels so sorry for homeless cats but look at all these beauties! They look healthy and healthy - wonderful!

Hi, I'm dropping in from Julie's hop. Nice to meet you. Since I'm a cat person, I really, really enjoyed your photos. And what lucky cats they are to dine in such splendor.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are incredible! Love them all. In Rome there is a huge street/park cat community and it makes me so happy when people help care for them.
ReplyDeleteI totally want to go to cat island!! As I scrolled through the pics I thought, this is my favorite, no this one is, no this.... One is more adorable than the next. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the cats got in on our Hop too! Thanks again!
I was going to say, that place is overrun with cats! I guess it is a cat or cat lover's dream destination!
ReplyDeleteUn vrai paradis félin.
ReplyDeleteRegarder ces photos est d'ailleurs aussi un bout de paradis. Elles sont toutes plus beles les unes que les autres.

Lovely photos. I would LOVE to visit Kyushu and Tashirojima the next time we are in Japan!
ReplyDeleteI came here looking for your Dream Destination post, but fell in love with your cat photos. Since I am currently serving as staff for two very spoiled cats myself, I have no choice but to sign on as your newest groupie. Nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteCute fuzzy animals plus Japan. I'm sold.
ReplyDeleteJapan is a great choice, and it looks like there's more to offer than I realized. Cute kitties. :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Love these pictures (as always)! So cute.

My husband flies there and loves it. We both adore Japanese food. We so have to go together! :)

the last three are brilliant and delightful
ReplyDeleteI loved the pics -- and I love cats!! Egypt has a lot of feral cats because they've always been important to Egyptians for keeping down the rat population that eats grain stores. That's the why Egyptians idolize cats rather than any supernatural reason. Great post - thanks for the awesome pics and for joining the hop! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhoa, a blog only about cats? Ha, you have a new follower. Adore kitties since like forever and can't get enough them. Your blog is awesome, the pics are even more awesome, and I'm a happy man now :-D
ReplyDeleteLook at these beauties go!xx Rachel
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I recognize the name of the city, but I can't put my finger on why. Lovely cats! Love all the snuggly and playful kitties.
